ELITE 24 HOOPOLOGY SCHOOL
Do you want to get a jump on the season and increase your knowledge of the game! Join the ELITE 24 BASKETBALL HOOPOLOGY SCHOOL. The Hoopology School is for those students who want to increase their overall knowledge, skill level and prepare properly for the upcoming season. The school will expose students to a higher level of learning which will provide them with the proper tools to succeed at the next level by creating a challenging atmosphere which to be successful in. Our knowledgeable staff of college coaches will breakdown the game and use the same techniques and drills that have made their teams successful.
Remember this is a school; our goal is to teach the game of basketball. We want student-athletes who are serious about improving, working hard and becoming a team-player.
SCHOOL STRUCTURE
We want to keep the student to teacher ratio down to help achieve more individualized attention to provide students with the ability to grow and not just be another player lost in the numbers. The student to teacher ratio will be 8 to 1. Each student-athlete will be assigned to one of four teams. At the end of the academy each student-athlete will receive a report card on skills to work on.
The school will consist of 7 weeks; 3 days per week. The first two days of the week will consist of skill instruction which will teach young student athletes on how to become more efficient in the following categories…
· Team Defense Rules and Principles
· Motion Offense
· Reading and Reacting (Basic Relocation)
· Setting and Utilizing Screens
· Team Communication
· Growth in Their Individual Games
· Controlled and Uncontrolled Breaks
· Special Situations
· Advanced Ball-handling
· Shot Preparation & Quickness
The third day will consist of instructional games. This will allow our students the ability to apply what is learned in a team setting. The games will be officiated by certified OSAA officials. The league will also include a playoffs and championship format. Games will consist of four 8 minute quarters. Each team will be assigned a coach from our professional staff.

ELITE 24 TRAVELING TEAMS
Our mission is to create and foster an environment that maximizes the potential of each student in a team atmosphere with a focus on the fundamentals of the game.
The ELITE 24 travel team will consist of 3 skill development sessions per week which offer advanced instruction from a knowledgeable, experienced and professional staff. This is a perfect opportunity for the serious athlete who is striving to take their game to the next level! Athletes will learn how to proper succeed in both a team oriented offense and defense. The system is designed for the success of the team and not the individual. Students will receive specialized instruction in all aspects of the game, which consist of proper footwork techniques, the ability create space, basic relocation, shot preparation, individual moves, position development, advanced ball handling skills, proper shooting techniques and mechanics. ELITE 24 BASKETBALL BOOT CAMP
The
basketball boot camp is designed to get the student-athlete a running
start into the season. This will be accomplished through very intense
and rigorous court conditioning which incorporates, ball-handling,
shooting and sports performance training. This camp is a must for the
serious athlete who wants to compete and perform at their highest
level. Space is limited!
